Sue Ingall - A Life of Love and Service
Thanksgiving, New York, 2018

Thanksgiving, New York, 2018

Sue finally finished her fight with cancer on January 4, 2019.

She was a warrior of a woman with endless love that she gave to those fortunate to know her. She unabashedly went through life telling how it was but always putting others ahead of herself.

Sue lived with a lust for life, treating every day as a new opportunity and pushing the barriers - in all parts of the world - in her native America, in her beloved adopted home nation of the United Kingdom, or in her life and travels in Asia, Latin America or Africa.

She enjoyed drinking pints in a down-at-heel pub as much as champagne at The Oscars. Sue was a special wife, a devoted mother and a lover of all animals.

She wanted her passing not to be sad, but to be a time to reflect on how life should be cherished and that everyone should live their best. She raises a glass to you all!

AS YOU KNOW, SUE TIRELESSLY SERVED SO MANY PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES THAT NEEDED HER HELP. SHE NEVER LOOKED FOR THE PAT ON THE BACK OR THE LIMELIGHT FOR HER WORK, BUT JUST GAVE GENEROUSLY AND COURAGEOUSLY.

Closest to her heart was the plight of Refugees and Immigrants, Those in Despair and in need of modern medicine, Leading an Impactful Life and a hero figure in JANE GOODALL.

THANK YOU FOR GIVING GENEROUSLY NOW IN HER NAME. SHE LOVED THESE CAUSES AND WOULD BE SO PLEASED TO KNOW YOU ARE SUPPORTING THEM.

WITH LOVE AND GRATITUDE,

MARK, TILLY AND MAX INGALL

The Sue Ingall Memorial Fund

Norfield Congregational Church in Weston Connecticut was a special place for Sue — not only because it was filled with a loving community of people, or because she found comfort in her “irreverent holiness” (as she called it), but mostly because it was the place where she demonstrated to all the true meaning of “faith in action”.

She taught so many what it meant to really walk the walk: to roll up your sleeves and get to work serving others.

The Sue Ingall Memorial Fund has been set up in her name to provide the resources for young people to learn and live an impactful life, through scholarships, internships and apprenticeships.

If young people aspire to live their lives like Sue did, with her values, generosity and integrity, it will surely be a peaceful world.

Thank you for contributing to this special new fund.
